Dr Snehal Sriram is a senior dermatologist specializing in cosmetic dermatology with over 23 years of rich experience. She has been one of the pioneers in Cosmetic Dermatology in India. She was the medical head of Kaya skin clinics – India and middle-east, heading a team of 194 dermatologists. She has set up Cosmetic Dermatology clinics in reputed hospitals like Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, SevenHills Hospital, Apollo Hospital.
Background and experience:
A medical graduate from TN Medical College – Nair Hospital, Dr Sriram completed her post-graduation with flying colours from GS Medical College – KEM Hospital in 1996. Her interest in science of skin and hair care began during post-graduation and strengthened over 2 decades of experience.
After consulting at Apollo hospitals for 4 years and establishing cosmetic dermatology in Hyderabad, Dr Sriram joined Kaya Skin clinic chain in 2003. At Kaya, over 6 years she handled multiple responsibilities including dermatologists’ training, research and development of new cosmetic treatments for skin, hair and body shaping, heading medical services for pan-India and Middle-east and heading a team of 194 dermatologists.
During her illustrious career, she set up cosmetic dermatology clinics in Kokilaben Ambani hospital, Sevenhills hospital, Nahar Medical Center.
At present, she is Consultant and Head of Cosmetic dermatology department at SevenHills hospital and Nahar Medical Center. She is also Medical Director for Trica Hair Clinic & JCB Salons and spa and visiting consultant at Surya Hospital and Hiranandani Hospital.
Research and Academics:
Dr. Sriram has conducted over 200 training programs for dermatologists and has presented many papers in National & International Conferences eg International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology in Melbourne & Lisbon, IMCAS at Singapore & Paris. Her research papers have been published in several reputed National and International Publications. She has authored 2 book chapters.
Academic accolades are not new to her, from the time of being the first in university in her post-graduation to winning several awards for best research during her dynamic career.
